Warren Bloom is a bass vocalist, teacher, audio engineer, arranger, theater pianist, voiceover artist and trombonist living in Brooklyn, New York City, USA.

His first involvement with contemporary a cappella was as a founding member (bass and VP) of Spur Of The Moment at Brandeis Univ. from 1991 to 1995. He was asst. musical director (and bass and VP) of the only lineup of The Newport Sound in summer 1995. He sang with jazz choir Jazz Vocal 2 at the Univ. of Miami School of Music from 1996-1997, while pursuing his MMus in media writing & production. Summers of 1996 & 1997 were spent as bass/VP of the vocal ensemble The Hyannis Sound (the latter as musical director).

In early 1998 he was invited to join the established (and later CARA-nominated) NYC-based jazz/cabaret vocal band Doo•Wa•Zoo; previous internal issues caused the group to dissolve a few months later. He joined up with various pop a-cappella combos over the following seven years, including Dobsonfly, Sneaky Sis, and two unnamed combos. He was also on the staff of the Ultimate A Cappella Arranging Service from 1999-2001.

A confluence of members from various previous vocal combos led to the formation of pop/rock vocal band Invisible Men in 2005, which he founded and continues with to serve as musical director and bass.

In 1999 he began his studies at Hunter College (CUNY) for an MA in music education, which he completed in 2003. He was director of instrumental music at Talent Unlimited High School in Manhattan, New York City from 2002-2005, and taught general music (grades 1-9) at PS/MS/27 in Brooklyn, New York City from 2006-2007.
